St. Croix Tidemaster Series

Anyone have any thoughts on the St. Croix Tidemaster series, specifically, the 6'6" casting model rated for 10-20#? I plan to use it in Raritan Bay for chunking stripers.

All honest thoughts appreciated, no matter how brutally honest. cwm24.gif

Thanks

John,

I am not knowledgable of St. Croix rods, however there have been enough positive postings on the Board about their rods and blanks.

The one you are asking about at 10-20 lb rating may be a little light for chunking should you hook up to something with shoulders. Just set your drag properly and take your time. You should be fine.
