I've seen that used a couple times,

modern sporting rifle,

modern black rifle.

what are they made for

and why are some people drawn to them.....

my personal opinion is it caters to the gun nut, doomsday prepper sort, that envisions himself mowing down mauraders as they invade his homestead.

They are lightweight, accurate and easy to carry and deploy. That makes them excellent for hunting in the caliber of your choice. And even for non-hunting.... they're just plain nice to shoot. When I first joined the Army, I wondered why people weren't using M-16's for deer because they were just nice to shoot. The 5.56 mm limitation was a problem, but that's not a problem today, as these rifles come with many different chambers and barrels today.

No. Whales. Ask a stupid question and you get a stupid answer.

Seems you have no intention of parting with your precious bigotry even if you have to be an idiot to do it, so I'm bugging out and encourage everyone else to do the same.

when I go hunting,

the point is to kill with the first shot,

these so called "modern sporting rifles" look like military assault rifles and pander to the little rambos who want to run around in the woods feeling like heros.

whatever,

I have an opinion,

and I am stating it,

if you have a different opinion,

fine,

feel free to explain that these weapons are better suited for hunting than a hunting rifle is.

explain that defectives DON'T buy them for how bad ass they look,

and how powerful they feel when they hold them.

well if someone can tell me I am wrong...

You are wrong.

Your position is so hardened that nothing offered will change your position.

Your purpose now is to attack and belittle all else that does not agree with your position.
