Still use Ande pink for some bottom fishing,because of the toughness, reliability and cost.

When I did use mono for plugging, I found Trilene "Sensation' to be a perfect fit. You usually sacrifice abrasion resistance when increasing flexibility but I found sensation to retain a bit of toughness and not have too much stretch so you could still feel what was going on out there, without being too stiff and sacrificing casting distance.

Don't use mono anymore - but when I did, I used the Cortland Camo line, which is a multi colored mono that supposedly blends in with the background of the water...Not sure if it did all that, but it was a nice line to use and would probably be what I use today if I ever get tired of braid (which is highly unlikely...LOL)
