Kenmore 400 - 10 years old - runs but no heat

All,

Any help much appreciated. I have checked the obvious easy stuff - clogged exhaust, two switches but don't know where to head next. Fuses? Heat Coil? Other?

Is there a "best bet" here or do I need to chase it down with Ohm meter (my skills there are a little rusty)?

Used to have a Kenmore that blew the wire off the thermostat that was located under the filter at the bottom of ther front door. Happened a bunch of times. Also the heat coil broke once and a wire burned off a switch on the top. Check the thermostat first. Hope you already fixed it...John
