Geraldo : it's the gun, not the criminal

Geraldo wants a nationwide gun buyback program.

He mentions a recent one in NJ or NY where a good number of guns were used in crimes.

But, he says getting those guns off the street are important.

Think about that.

Commit a crime using a gun, take it to a gun buyback program where it's no questions asked, and guess what? It gets destroyed (or that's what we're told) and there goes the evidence.

Criminal goes free because no one can find the weapon.

Yea, think about it. All the criminals are going to turn in their stolen Glocks and Sigs for fifty bucks(that's about what the police pay).................

50 bucks?

More like a target gift card for 50 target dollars

And no , the criminals will not sell their guns to the police. That would be like a carpenter selling his hammer. Not going to happen.

Want to reduce urban gun crime? The ONLY thing that works is aggressive police tactics.

If we didn't have a steady stream of arrests, trials, and guilty verdicts, we wouldn't need all those unionized police, and jail guards.

That's why it will never happen.
