Boating question...

For the boat guys, my father wants to bring his 42' Sea Ray up from Fort Myers, Florida to one of the local marinas. I figured you guys would have better answers then Google. Would it be cheaper to truck the boat up or have someone drive it from marina to marina. Anybody have a possible ball park figure on how much these options would cost? And pall park figure for a slip of that size at your local marina?

Any info I can pass along to my dad is appreciated by both of us.

While I operate a 42 Bertram with 550 gallons of diesel @ 2475.00 a tank full it will take about 5 tank fills for the trip do the math, now if you dont have any rigging in the way to take down for the bridges trucking it up will be a lot cheeper.
