RegDunlop
These are great surf rods, I owned a few. Should have never sold them. if we're looking for a shark we're not gonna find him on the land
justintrask
Only reason I'm selling is I picked up a new Ben Doerr stick, and I'm in the market for a new reel that you happen to be selling! just a shadow of what once was.

Lol St Croix Ben Doerr is another of my all time favorites. I'm selling a 200, thought you were looking for a 275 for the ditch? if we're looking for a shark we're not gonna find him on the land
justintrask
I threw one last year for the first time and fell in love. Had a chance to get one cheap and took it! just a shadow of what once was.
SteppinOnFlounder
What's the actual low end range and high end range on this rod and how's a 6500 fit on here?
justintrask
I was throwing it with a 7000, didn't really throw it enough to get a real feel for it. stewie would have a better idea. I'll see if I can get his input. I was using it as an eeling rod in the ditch. just a shadow of what once was.
pauley1
I used to have that rod. Lowest I've casted was a 2oz Kastmaster. It's comfortable at 4oz. Never tried anything higher.
justintrask
I never threw more than 5 (4oz head with sluggo) just a shadow of what once was.
justintrask
Lol St Croix Ben Doerr is another of my all time favorites. I'm selling a 200, thought you were looking for a 275 for the ditch? If i can find a used 275 that is preferred for the ditch, but I dont NEED a VS for the ditch. It would just be multi-purpose. A 200 or 250 would be more like what I'd realistically be looking for outside of the ditch. just a shadow of what once was.
