- able to be used a surf rod and one able for casting off jetties

- able to fight 20lbs+ stripers and 5+ blues

All that for $50.00? Either find a used or an ugly stick.

Not even sure you'll touch an ugly stik for that price.

Maybe one of those fancy yellow eagle claw ones at Walmart.

I think if you up your price to a hundred you will find a lot more options. But I would try bst forum and post a wtb tusanmi airwaves 2-6 willing to pay 50.00 10ft and see what happens.

Just head on over to Wal-Mart. They don't have a surf fishing section, and you might not get a lot of technology for $50, but I'm sure they have plenty of rods that can do both of those things - think weekenders/tourists. If you get more serious about fishing the surf/jetties, you probably need to up your price just for overall comfort and performance.

the shakespeare combos are $50 - but also check locally. good luck.
