Rod suggestion for thunnus ci4 4000

Looking to pair a decent rod with this reel. Mostly live lining for stripers with occasional tosses to top feeders. looking to spend about 150-200. Fishing Off Plymouth mass mostly

welcome to the site 



that size reel is a little small for live lining but it will work fine with braid.



st croix tidemaster MH 7 ft or 7ft6  would be good for that with that reel.

Yeah I would go with the 6000 if your going to use 30 lb braid and 8000 if using 50.

The tidemaster H 7 ft would probably work better.

Another good rod is the shimano trevala butterfly jigging rods. The 7 ft medium light would be good, TVS7ML is the model number

Its very light and thin rod that you could use for a lot of different situations
