4 posts in this topic

Arnie I have been using that one on www.boatersbox.com for a while , its great.

Does anyone have the software for charts.I have a big inkjet at work can do stuff 2 ft wide.

Would be nice to have some small charts for some of our local haunts and laminate them.

I've been using that site for a while now. I usually check out the ariel photos first cause you can easily see where the sand flats and sand bars and deep holes are located. Then I put on the nautical chart for that area. I know the ariel photos are up to date but I don't believe the nautical charts are.

The arial photos can be more revealing, some are taken on windy days. The charts show the channel markers and the color and rate that the lights flash, that can be useful at night. And the topos are useful to find a launch site. I even went thru the trouble to copy a bunch for the area that I wanted to fish and paste them together in paintbrush. Anybody buy the program, it's got to be faster than downloading and pasting? I was thinking of getting the one for NJ and the Delaware Bay, $150.
