Bear with me...

The novelty will wear off with the camera thing. Took a few pics, while messing around with the yak this afternoon.

First, The seal on my scupper hatch was coming apart so I called Ocean. For $20 the sent me new seals and a new hatch cover..not bad. Here's a pic of the old hatch cover.

Next, I put that bow line on. Not sure why I waited so long.

And last, my version on the "poor man's kayak cart"

Took me a week to find tubed tires with plastic hubs under $20ea. Made in Germany, free shipping.

And most importantly, can travel with me.

Done. These digital cameras are fun.

Certainly more fun than the house projects I'm supposed to be doing. wink.gif

G-Man,

Looks you have it "going-on" in a serious hop-on-top way. I like your rig, the cart, your wetsuit habits and your willingness to help downed pilots and take pictures.

One thing though-Are you a real G-Man? Spill smile.gif

Thanks Sharp.

Now do you expect a G-Man to share top secret info on the internet? I could be killed! And if you knew, then your life is in danger!

Here, I'll make something up....

I'm a mild mannered network engineer with a family of four. I got the nickname G-Man from buddies at work from toasting them at video games. How's that? Now we're both safe. wink.gif

Yes, some shot's of fish would be nice.

Hopefully this weekend.

I'm hope some of the skill and good luck on this forum will rub off.

Which digital camera?

I got a this one here

Well rated, 3X optical zoom, 2.0 MegaPix $200 new, tiny, easy to use, etc. Good unit for the trips.

I just built that cart a couple weeks ago, and have not tested in the sand. I made this one because my last cart fail bad in the sad. It had the plastic lawnmower tires doubled up. I will test it on sand this weekend. I expect it will do much better. The tires are nice.

I found them here

Call the 800# and ask for Kevin. Mention the pneumatic 10inch tire with plastic hubs. Cost = $16.93 each no shipping cost, but expect a 3 week wait since they come from Europe. Good luck.

They look alot like the standard tires on the carts that I stock. I can get the tires alone for builders as I've already inquired. I'll check prices and availability.
