My yak cart

5 posts in this topic

Here are some pics of my yak cart design. Wheels work great on pavement and hard sand, but kinda tough on real soft sand - so I'm looking for better wheels, but won't pay for the Rolleez. Frame has plenty of cross bracing and is very strong. The Scupper hole "horns" could be left out in your version, but you will need straps or bungees to hold it on. Pad with appropriate pipe insulation or pool nooldes.

Hope these pics give you ideas to make your own.

Damn Das! That is a loooooong time. I've been out every weekend whenever weather allows and that has been often. Didn't even miss one weekend even while on vaca, cause I came back on a Sat and was on the water on Sun. You and I gotta get out on the water again, buddy!!! Let's make some plans.
