Not really a thing that I made, but re-made.

First off don't buy an antique sofa, what a PITA. It might have been easier to start this from scratch than rebuild it. Had to reattach the legs, rebuilt the arms, and now it's off to be upholstered.....

You'll appreciate the work when you have to sleep on it!

You going to refill it with horse har?

Actually, that is a beautiful piece. Look forward to seeing it completed.

The amount of horse hair and straw for the padding kind of threw me for a minute. Filled up a 50 gal trash bag with the dusty crap....

I wish I was because then I would have had help cleaning up all of that mess and finding the random tacks that I dropped when pulling everything apart.

Upgraded this about 8 years ago to an awesome-at-the-time camera. This go round I designed the upgrade package, got to pick its replacement, put it in and fire it up.

Good work on setting those up for big brother. Damn that thing is powerful.

About 16 years ago, my buddy joined the USCG. When he came back to Jersey. He was stationed down around Barnegat Light, NJ. He told me the cameras there could pickup a dude taking a leak off the Tunney/Mathis Bridge connecting Tom's River to Seaside Heights. That blew my mind at the time. I think it's about 18 miles.

Pretty unrecognizable. At what point would it have made more sense to start from scratch?

Na, this one’s on a closed circuit NVS I designed for a private research facility. No way for data to travel in or out of the facility. If it catches anything they need, BCPD or other alphabet soup bowl has to come with a thumb drive and ask for it.

There’s some really cool stuff out there. That sign is about 3 miles across the Baltimore harbor, give or take. The customer wanted to be able to see people in their cars in their lot and the license plates, I said I’d get something that would show them the expiration date on the stickers.
