ruby-throated hummingbird is the only species we have inhabiting the east coast. we do get some vagrant visitors during migration from time to time, but that's usually young of the year birds in the fall that haven't figured out where to go and when yet.

hard to say looney, he looks wet? 

 

could have bathed recently or got some sap on him. not sure what time of year they molt, but could be due for that too i guess.
