Plug and teaser
A Wilson's Phalarope from yesterday. First one ever seen in our county, found by a friend. We were very lucky to get a look ,even along the coast they are a tough one to find.

Plug and teaser
A couple long distance travelers we found along the Conn. river in Western Mass. recently. Both likely headed from the arctic to winter in South America. Big storms were blowing in so I'd guess the set down on this sandbar until they moved through. A Stilt Sandpiper , he's on the left hanging out with a couple Lesser Yellowlegs. American Golden Plover.
