This site has got some fabulous insight on the infamous lure that many consider THE best overall lure that a fisherman can use in any given application - The Bucktail !!! Endless amount of information that i am still gathering and enjoying researching time after time.........

I was wondering if we could start a thread and give all those who frequent this site pictures, with or without your favorite trailer, and give us all a visual of the many presentations this great lure possesses. Once i get my camera up and running, i'll post the many i prefer.......

C'mon boys.....let's send 'em in.............

I made these last week they all have 8/0 treble xxx hooks Smile. 3/4 ounce and ounce and a half mixed some of the above listed colors have done me very very well on the beach in back bays and in inlets i also make these colors in three and four ounces. the Miami vice gray with the pink sides is a new color i am testing out in September storms, the black with the yellow the rainbow have caught me some pretty nice fish along with the pink and white, my ties might be slightly primitive but my stuff does not fall apart at all.

P.S. i have never found the necessity to paint the heads the fish Hit the lure from the rear they come up on it from the back of the lure. for that reason i never paint the heads and i have caught a real lot of fish with them..

Here's a picture of my 'ties'. They are used primarily for Pompano but I have caught every kind of fish except a shark on them. My stripers have been caught on live shrimp.

I hope that the picture comes out. My first attempt. C2

Wow these are really nice lockbox.  I think I'm going to play around with this in the offseason and see what I can produce.

A few years ago I shaved my moustache and XBMX tied me up this bucktail with the hair. I liked it so much I didn't want to fish it because I was afraid that I might lose it so I just mounted it up.
