This morning I had Arthroscopic surgery on my right knee.

Tomorrow I will face the same problem of trying to get the first turd out the chute.

What I am going to use is a Dulcolax suppository as that has proved itself in the past.

I just have to remember to take it out of it's foil packet, for the best results.

If you can't go after trying many of the suggestions offered in this thread, call your doctor, cause you don't want to go too long getting that first dump out of the way.

Had knee surgery a few weeks ago,and had the same problem. All the pain killers they give you seem to cause the problem.Metamucil helped me,but the first bowel movement is hard anyway.

Good luck to you,I know what you are going thru.
