I figured it would be cool to have a separate thread to show what everyone is catching around Long Island. There are a few threads that have random posts regarding this, but I would like to see everything in one thread. I am not only looking for your best and biggest, but anything you caught on Long Island. I am looking forward to adding some nice Trigger photos this summer as well! Photos don't have to be recent, but do have to be from the area. Freshwater is also welcome! :)

Here's my first addition:

Caught a couple of weeks ago on the South Shore..

This past Friday at a south shore Inlet. My best surf caught fish of the spring, 18 lbs. Still doing my best to break the 20 lb. mark from the beach.

Speaking of a fight,

I had one interesting day last August. I caught three rays. The first 2 were double the size of the one below. This one must have been about 50LBs +, (although it is hard to see that from the pic) since the 50lb braid was cut as I tried to pull it out further.

The first one I caught had a 6-8 foot tail splashing out of the water, and I had it by the first wave, then it went down and stayed in the sand. I had no choice but to cut the line.

My arms were hot coals that day.

Needless to say, my reel needed maintenance the day after (I actually received a brand new one).
