Considering the outstanding cuisine you've share with us I certainly appreciate the compliment.

 

It's escarole with beans and macaroni and the bread is a peasant loaf of bread flour, whole wheat and rye leavened with a sour dough biga. I started the biga last night, mixed the dough this morning and then baked it this afternoon for dinner.

 

Oh, for those wondering, the big glob of what appears to be goo in one of the photo's halfway down actually home made chicken stock that still hasn't defrosted. :laugh:
