Like my grandfather - peacefully, and in his sleep.

At the $50 window, cashing a daily double.

In honor of the Imp...in my own bed at the age of 80, with a bellyful of wine and a girl's mouth around my rooster!

That could have been my grandmother. My grandfather had a heart attack right before pulling out of the parking spot in front of their house. Instead, she gave him a big FY by living another 20 years after he died.

My Granny took a longer-range approach, but also pulled that off - she went into a coma for a few weeks...my grandfather thought she was on her way out, and since he was 94 and she was the last person he was going to have to bury in a lifetime, checked himself into the hospital and was dead within three days...after not having any significant medical issues for the prior 30 years.

She comes out of the coma a few weeks after THAT...miraculously, with all faculties still intact...and lives five more years, dying at 96.

It's called "beating the Devil at his own game."  smile.gif

Heart attack via SIMs clam sauce/parm concoction.

That would be the absolute worst.

You can barely call having to eat that **** "living..."

...and truly, the most horrible death of all.

So, she was happy that gramps was dead, then? Didn't even have to go to the funeral, now did she.

My father came back from fishing IRL, walked the dog with a smoke and a beer, never made it to the stop sign at the end of the street.

My Mother made a list of all the **** she had to do the next day, went to bed and never woke up to do it.

*ly, anyway is fine so long as there is no lingering ....
