Nothing big and not too active - but did break the ice today (freshwater)

Fished a local Suburban West river today and caught a half dozen smallish largemouth up to maybe 13-14 inches - on a mixed bag of small Rebel lures (gold) and small kastmasters. While this isn't crazy action, it's better than I'm used given how this spot usually fishes at this time of year (conversely, this would be a highly disappointing outing if it had occurred in the summer)...so anyway, go get'em:-)

I've been getting a lot of warm water species this spring chucking lures and flies while targeting trout. LMBs, calicoes, and kivvers mainly. Some decent sizes too. I guess it's a product of all the heat the last two weeks. :kook:
