F/S Steelhead/Salmon Flies

6 posts in this topic

Are these all new?

Yes they are new and tied on Daiichi 2441 hooks w/ bleach burned hackle, guinea, etc.

These are steelhead patterns that date back to 1995 and I thought would be fun to try on landlocks in the Pemigewasset River in Bristol, NH last Nov, Dec, & Jan. They worked well so I thought some one else would enjoy a few. Thank you for asking.

These look like good colors for the Great Lakes tributaries and I have a near empty Wheatley clip box. I'll take them.

Just out of curiosity, what are the rod and reel in the picture?

Russ,

The rod is a T&T 1208-4 and the reel is an original Teton LA12 Spey w/ a 540gr Air Flo Skagit Compact head.

Will PM other info

Thanks

Buzz
