Happened to catch a few seconds of a show last night where they were debating Obama Care, in specifics, how much the necessary funding is underestimated.

I heard the CBO has it now at 1 trillion?

Anyone have any accurate info on this subject?

it is unconscionable that the Democratically controlled Congress, passed this 2,500 page travesty of a monstrosity, without knowing, or stating publicly, it true, eventual cost. I'm still amazed that at a time when we teeter on the brink of bankrupt insolvency, that these low life POS, actually passed this farce. And it's not even good law. It is hyper-expensive bad law, which was a collusive sop to Big Insurance, and Big Pharma.

Obama has flushed what good was left of this country, down the spitter. :( Madness, just more absolute madness. :(

I thought it was common knowledge that the healthcare legislation was so large and so encompassing and so staggered in its implementation

that no none knew just what its cost was going to be

yes, there were estimates from different sides

but in the end, there were too many unknowns to quantify it with any certainty at the front end

Perhaps if we as a nation, or even mankind evolved to the next level, and saw the irrationality behind war, we'd have the trillions to help our fellow human being.

Rick Santorum makes a Million Dollars a year and said he still can't afford some healthcare for his child Bella. ( I believe that's the sweet child's name - always sad to see a child ill).

If he can't afford all encompassing healthcare on a Million Dollars, what does that say for the rest of the nation who make the average salary ?

The problem is we haven't evolved past cavemen in our ways of treating others.

So were it not for the war spending, all the unions wouldn't be getting their waivers?

True evolution.

Let's not forget how these scum bags set this up to not take effect until after this election cycle. Come November Obamacare will be old news unlike in 2010. At that point most voters will think, "Well obmamcare hasn't had any negative effects on me, so it's not as bad as was stated."

A few months later, grab your ankles.

Don't worry, it'll be a slow process.

At first they'll be in and out of your posterior like Seal team 6.

You won't even know it.

Then the gang rapes will begin.

Piece of crap legislation that can't stand on it's own. They have to slither it into our lives, little by little.

Those dems really know how to play to the ignorance or the people.

Yes single payer is what we need

With the single payer being the INDIVIDUAL citizen.

not the government being the single payer, that's called socialism.

personal belief is that health insurance relies on other people to pay for your bills. add up your bills, add up the amount you pay for insurance. When the amount for your bills is way higher than the amount you pay for insurance, you have to ask yourself how is that possible. Then you realize that it's not just you who is paying the bills. It's everyone else that buys insurance.
