Backyard Moonrise.

I got home this evening just as the moon was coming up and the sun was setting. It was a pretty sight to see. Pictures do not do it justice but here are a couple I took from my deck. I like it when the moonlight is shimmering on the water.

There was an awesome monrise here tonight out over long island sound, wish I had the camera.

They say tonight should be a great night for catching an aurora borealis type event due to the recent solar storm, except for the full moon.

Great pics as always, Brian, you always kick ass.

Also, your pics of the concrete ships at kiptopeke made me research them while I was on my Virginia vacation, never would have known about that if it weren't for you, thank you!

Those are great shots! I watched it too. It was so warm tonight, my wife brought home beautiful T-bone steaks for all of us and I grilled them watching the moon rise over my backyard. T-bones and an awesome moon. Who could ask for more?
