i thought the the Slingshot 1327 was rated something like 3-7oz? not positive on that though. i'm waiting on a Stealth S1 10' 1-4oz and it was $50 cheaper too to be custom made... i'm pumped i can't wait to chuck my live target lures at some herring frenzied stripers!

just wondering from those that throw the 1327. What is the sweet spot and what type/size line do you use?

I am thiking 50lb braid and 2-3 oz plugs but...........

I think part of it is user preference. I used 40 and 50lb test and think 2.5 - 3 was my sweet spot if I'm remembering correctly.

I think It casts pretty well at 2.5, but it never fully loads up at that weight. You need 3-4 oz to load this rod and get the most out of it imho. Snap on a 5 and watch it fly.

It is rated 2-5oz, the 1328 is 3-7(or 8) depending on who you talk to.;)

big dave let me test one of these, I compare it to my xra1322, it's stiffer in the but section and not as parabolic as the arra, nice rod, no complaints,
