Alright, let's try this again :o .

Vote here for you favorite fly from the Dumbbell Challenge. One vote per registered SOL user. The only rule for the contest was that dumbbell style eyes needed to be used in the pattern. Which one is getting tied onto your tippet??

Looks like Entry K is the Winner!

Will the tier of Entry K please identify himself to claim his new found fame and glory?

Please also drop me a PM with your shipping address ;) .

Congrats to all tiers for some terrific entries :th: .

Congratulations. Well done and almost too pretty to fish. It looks to be articulated. Is it?

Thanks Steingm. Yes my fly is articulated. If your wondering where I hid the dumbell eyes they are at the eye of the fly hidden under the squids vail. I should mention the design is based on Popovics "shady lady". Except I tie mine articulated.

Which one is yours?

So does the pattern usually have them or have a need for them, or did you just throw them in for the contest?

Congrats btw

I knew the minute i saw that fly added it was the winner. I opted out of a squid fly as my last squid fly did so well i didn't wanna be dubbed mr squid. Nice alteration of hackle from the grizzly ones on the original (i pay attention) mine was I i particularly liked A as it was impecably tied and c was a cool tie... g was a really cool looking jammy.... as all the rest were worthy of mention as well though sorta picked g before the squid popped up. Great lot to chuck for sure

Mine was "G," the runner up (although behind an enormous lead by "K"). Thanks to all those who voted for my entry and in the contest in general. Thanks Alan/Gilbey for organizing. Murph, enjoy Mr. Shrimp!
