Mojo's still crapping out or is it safe to get one?

I plan on grabbing a pluggin stick this year since I will have a little extra coin thanks to no butts eating up all my money.....;)

I heard the rumors too but not sure how big of a problem it really was.

Mines been fine for a couple years.

Mine too, but I feel like it's a ticking time bomb. But so far, it's holding up. I know at least two people who've had problems with it.

Is it a real problem or just that little trim ring above the seat?

Either way, no problems with mine. Only small issue I had was the shrink wrap on the handle creeping up. Once I put a real butt cap on it covered the small gap and stopped the creeping.

I'm pretty sure dancingonrocks told me he had a 100% return rate on the mojo 2-6 last year due to breakage above the reel seat. The older blanks were fine, but last years blanks all broke.

Look at the Temple Fork rods for an alternative to the Mojo. Lower price point, same guide set up, lighter blank, beefier reel seat, better warranty.

Right in the back of Justin's car.

While it's true... if anyone wants to cast one and such, let me know. I know Red Top carries them. Forgot to ask if M&D's was able to carry them or not.
