Palin On Obama:

Looks like Sarah Palin is still a popular crowd pleaser. Drudge has a great picture of her big moment.

Palin On Obama:

Palin and an adoring audience chanted “USA, USA” at a couple occupiers trying to mic-check her big keynote speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference. This crowd loves her.

Washington, D.C. -- A few protesters mic-checked Sarah Palin's keynote speech at CPAC today but didn't last long. Nothing could touch Palin, who had the crowd on their feet for large portions of her speech.

The protesters in the back of the room yelled "Mic-check!" and were immediately greeted with a standing crowd -- and Palin herself -- chanting "USA, USA." Security quickly whisked them out of the room.

“We just won — see how easy that is," Palin said after they'd gone.

And at least in terms of reception, she did win today. Palin's speech got the biggest reaction of any at CPAC -- much more so than any of the presidential candidates. The audience gave her standing ovation after standing ovation and some even yelled "Run Sarah run!" -- more telling of the GOP field's inability to connect with voters than any poll.

Palin zeroed in on President Obama. The current state of the economy "is not a failure of the American people," she said. "It is the failure of leadership. We know how to change that, oh yes we do. Oh yes we can," she said, echoing Obama's campaign line.

"Hope and change – yeah, you gotta hope things change."

"He says he has a jobs plan to win the future. - - -, I know,"

Palin hasn't endorsed any candidates and didn't do so today, telling the crowd that "For the sake of our country we must stand united, whoever our nominee is."

Palin left the stage to an extended ovation, having managed to do what none of the candidates except Santorum could: get social conservatives truly fired up.

She is pushing the Tea Party / Conservative movement and counseling that when the primary's are over the Republicans must unite behind whom ever is the winner,

So it is still anybody but Obama as we work our way thru the vetting process. Comments?

I agree with her. We need to keep conservative ideas in the forefront because they will pave the way forward to prosperity and liberty. If a true conservative candidate isn't our nominee, we need to rally around whomever the candidate is to get this adminsitration OUT.

It will be interesting to see if Palin does endorse any of the candidates before the convention. She is right that the repubs must rally around whoever the winner might be. We already know what the alternative is and we can't stand another four years of Obama.

Conservatism is the only way America gets back on an even keel. :th:

The best part is Palin knots up the libs undies like no other. :p

i agree with you guys but we can't have 4 more of BHO, can we? i just think anything is better. i see the other side though. if we elect a rino, it's hard to keep the conservative momentum going. we can hold his feet to the fire too though. nobody gets a free pass anymore.

Sarah gave up the Governorship to stop the constant hounding of the liberal media bringing up bogus argument after bogus argument. When she left office, it all went away. If it had any merit, it would have continued after she left office.

Why don't you learn the meaning of words. I will not give a trophy for your poor understanding of what I write.

But if you are good, I might pat you on the head.

i've read that she was going broke defending all the charges against her. some states allow the sitting governor the cost for an attorney but Alaska isn't one of them. she had something like 500K in legal bills already and couldn't afford to pay her attorneys.

Palin turned over his job to her Lt. Gov. who maintained her policies and she went on to earn 12 million Dollars in the first 12 months she was a private Citizen. She has raised millions of dollars to help conservative republican win races in November 2010 and help put the Republicans back in the majority in the House. Folks like wdsmo carp about her, but have never laid a glove on her or her family in the 3 years she has been on the loose as a iconic figure representing Conservative Values.

That 3rd Party is pure smoke and mirrors and if it came to be this year it would insure Obama another 4 years. You wish for balance between the Dems and Republicans equals 1/3 and you can't win with that. Besides aren't you looking at what is going on now. The attack on Freedom of Religion has lit a fire under the Catholics and Southern Baptist Obama shot himself in both feet by taking on that dumb idea.

Who you gonna vote for wesmo, if that third party doesn't show up? The clock is ticking and I don't see anybody who could beat Obama leading a new mob against the Obama machine. Dr, Paul isn't drawing enough water to lead that charge.

You got any candidates in mind other than the ones in the Republican Party Primary?

Mc Cain was a moderate and got his clock cleaned because he lost the killer instint to defend himself and point out the other guys defects. He never threw a single punch in 2008. Take moderates and you lose. I voted for him. How about you? Who did you vote for?

She abandoned her position, that she swore to uphold, to cash in.

What made you go immediately to the gutter and accuse a fellow SOL'r of sleeping with Sarah Palin. That is a liberal left tactic. Attacking a persons reputation because you can't support any truthful negatives against Palin.

You are pissed off that she didn't go into hiding and step away from the national scene. She stepped up and started swinging at the balls thrown her way,and winning fame and money for herself.

I believe she is the exact opposite of a Victum. The lady is a Winnah! A wicked, awesome Winnah!

Pretty lowlife act on your part. Accusing longcaster of sleeping with the lady.

Actually, as stated earlier, she handed it off ot her Lt. while she went on to help influence national politics.

I'm glad she went national rather than focus on just one of the 57 states.

Just the fact that you guys still cry over her is proof that it's working.

Oh and she made money at the same time.

Shame on her, Romney and everyone else for achieving financial prosperity.

What are you, and occupier?
