I spent the last nine days in Indianapolis, IN working the Super Bowl. :D

:scuba:

As much fun as it was you can tell by the look on my face that I was working pretty hard. I gabbed a quick shot in the Giants end zone running back to the trailer from the NBC trucks. You can see the excitement in my face. :o

One of the first nights we were there they had a Media party at the Indy Speedway.

They held it in the Pagoda with different food and different booze on each floor.

There were cars painted up for every team in the NFL.

That's his game face.

More like my third day in a row of working 15 - 18 hours while waliking/running at least five miles per day doing it face. :freak:

I smiled when I met the cheerleaders though. :naughty:

There is a tradition dating back over 10 years that we always smoke a brisket and feed the photographers before the game. The woman charge had never done a bowl before and didn't know about it. As a result there were no provisions made for hot food. I wasn't having it. So I bought a smoker just for the occasion.

Then she threw me under the bus telling some long time NFL folks that my brisket would be better than the guy who usually does it. :squid: I had never smoked a brisket before.

According to all accounts my brisket smoked the precedent set over the last decade.

In all honesty I did confer with some of my Texan buddies back home who helped out a lot. One buddy even gave me his own special rub for my meat.....

I didn't mean that the way it sounded. :o
