Got out saturday on the rowboat.

The New Croton reservoir is now open for winter boating after 9 years of shoreline only in the colder months. Part of a chain that starts in the Catskills in upstate NY, and feeds NYC, the Croton is mostly a bass /pickerel/ crappie destination. It was too brisk to sit and fish the all season crappies, so I trolled trout to stay warm and keep moving. Several miles of sunny rowing produced not a hit, but I checked out my boat, and got some good exercise.0203121211.jpg
