Bass Ackwards
I say your skeet or trap gun that you shoot weekly at clay birds or your .45 that you shoot weekly at targets is a tool and only becomes a weapon when it is used as one. What do you think? fishinambition Posted June 30 ·After a decade and a half of trolling and disrupting the website, frank's finally fed up with Tim's bull****

Bass Ackwards
From Wikipedia: "A weapon, arm, or armament is a tool or instrument used with the aim of causing damage or harm (either physical or mental) to living beings or artificial structures or systems. In human society, weapons are used to increase the efficacy and efficiency of activities such as hunting, fighting, self-defense, crime, law enforcement, and war". fishinambition Posted June 30 ·After a decade and a half of trolling and disrupting the website, frank's finally fed up with Tim's bull****

I think this is a all weapons are tools but not all tools are weapons type of deal. but I think the definition you chose to refute my opinion actually bolsters MY claim. Kings over Queens
I prefer to call them firearms. I don't like the "Weapon" connotation. #otterlivesmatter
Bass Ackwards
Many things can be used as weapons but they are not weapons until used as such. fishinambition Posted June 30 ·After a decade and a half of trolling and disrupting the website, frank's finally fed up with Tim's bull****

titleguy
All firearms should be treated as weapons, first and foremost. I would ******* LOVE a grave blanket.
Kings over Queens
correct, and a gun was designed to be a weapon, and doesn't have many practical uses beyond being a weapon. and KoQ fears connotations. I also don't like drama multipliers. Which is what happens when you see a gun and people scream "Weapon." The factual term for a gun is that it's a firearm. Its not a weapon until its used for that purpose. Plinking paper targets or blasting clay pigeons doesn't make it a weapon, in my book. #otterlivesmatter
