I was in the breakdown lane in East Lyme CT standing the American flag in the back of the jeep when a car hit me hit and run but the guy that hit me was caught right away. I was very well treated by the CT State police special thanks to Sargent Bentley and all the people at L n M hospital I owe these people my life because I was bleeding to death did not even have time to med vac to Hartford via chopper. A very special thanks goes out to the man that made the 911call and followed the car that hit me and made the guy pull over and stop Mr. Wilcox if not for Mr. Wilcox I would have died on the spot due to all the loss of blood.

The reason I was in the breakdown lane is because I feel asleep and hit the barrier the jeep left side is in bad shape it needs a lot of work thank God for seat belts I was in the process of calling road side assistance to tow my jeep back home on a flat bed. Rising the American flag in the back of the jeep was a way for me to let other drivers know that one of our own needed help. The jeep will get fixed come fishing time it will drive in SoCo again.
