How's this for a bass guitar solo?

Btw, this thread is honor of the fact that by the end of today, I'm buying (for both myself and my daughter) our first bass guitar...the Hofner Icon series (after all, I have to show my Beatle loyalty...LOL)...but from what I understand, it makes a good starter bass because 1) it's very light and has a distinct sound, given that it's hollow and 2) (and more importantly), it won't break the bank, even though it's still several hundred dollars plus at least another 'Benji' for the amp

If you want to play lead, then for God's sake, go the **** ahead but GET a DIFFERENT guitar !!!!!
