it won't come from the people that fled New Jersey during the Corzine years...

Maybe cutting Income taxes will "Attract" people and businesses to stay in NJ?

Let me know how it works out - I'll be on the beach.

why did New Jersey's Debt service increase after Sales Tax and income Tax increases?

It was Whitman's Fault?

No - she wasn't governor when NJ voted-in it's income Tax.

It was Keane's Fault?

No, but he could have rolled back some taxes - he raised taxes instead.

Hmmm, I wonder where all this debt came from?

Oh I got it!

From the expanded Public Workers Unions and their Pensions!

Maybe when Christie cuts taxes, he's gonna cut some public worker Unions.

Maybe he'll mandate that anyone with an office in Trention should have a New Jersey Mailing address.

If we fire some of these clowns, they might have to look for work in their home state of Pennsy. :bucktooth:

maybe he'll walk on water like the Republicans seem to think,

maybe he'll do a lot of things,

what he said was he's gonna give another GOP tax cut, without knowing where the money will come from.

maybe it will work out.

no way - he's a whale.

Why did New Jersey initiate an Income Tax in the first place? You should investigate that before you cry about tax cuts.

Why did Jon Corzine raise the State Sales Tax?

Why Did Jon Corzine give away the farm to the unions?

the truth will set you free....

taking a LONG view of how economic woes are created is a good thing.

you can just blame everything on the guy in office, but that seems pretty damn childish.

however,

I have long lamented the GOP knee jerk position of "Tax Cuts will fix it" and passing them without a corresponding cut to spending.

in my ever humble opinion it's been this tax cut frenzy that began with Reagan that is largely responsible for our current economic crisis.

cut taxes and create more revenues with smoke and mirrors.

Tax Increases should be thorougly questioned before initiated and the auditing towards their "goal" should be revealed to the voting public in plain terms.

However, we have nincompoops that believe the mere presence of tax automatically assumes revenues.

agreed,

I think that decisions should be made with a review of facts and not based purely on talking points and sound bites.

Oh, pols are pols, and facts are facts, and never the twain shall meet. (My thanks to Kipling.)

In Washington, telling the truth is a gaffe.

But can't say where the  money will come from

YAY.

really?

is that all Republicans can do?

come from? It's requires money to take less from citizens?

Sounds like you may have a skewed view of the truth.

Are you aware that cutting taxes is NOT where the government writes checks to people?

Only Obama thinks that. And we know he doesn't really think that, he just lies to the weak minded to get votes.
