"Hunt For Big Fish" - Stripers

Last night there was a very good episode on freshwater Striper fishing in a Tennessee river. Can't remember the name of the river but they were fishing right below a dam. They were using a couple of lures that Larry makes- one was a plug that darts back and forth and the other was a plastic Sluggo-like lure. They were getting some nice fish on the lures and said the lures outfished live Trout.

I hope it's on again Saturday morning so watch for it! :)

I'm sure it's in my DVR. Got it set to record anything with "Striper" in the title or description. I'm guessing the plug that darted back and forth is his "Wide Glide"?

I watched that Show(Larry Dahlberg), very cool. He was saying also that living lining trout for stripers was causing high mortality rates to striped bass.

Yes....He was using a Wide Glide. I used the big one last year in the Canal with some success.

Yes they where check this out http://www.stripersonline.com/t/830449/please-help-a-musky-fishery

This fishery has a warm water discharge which draws fish in the cold water period. This information might give you an idea what's going on.
