anyone see Paul strong third as being the real winner?

santorum gets hammered in NH (IMO) and will need the evangelical SC to stay afloat -

Romney appears to be status quo and getting votes as the only one with a chance of beating Obama,

but I kind of suspect that Rand Paul is the only candidate that doesn't fit the bill of what voters are most angry with, and that he did really well in surprising groups, like young people.

Mike, Dr. Paul didn't do well as expected with the younger crowd. Check the first story on the Real Clear Politics list for today. Interesting figures when it comes to Ron Paul.

Santorum brings a new dynamic to the race. Bachman's exit will free up conservative votes and start to consolidate and consintrate their focus. Santorum did an amazing thing with no money and a lot of hard work. People will look at him with respect for the effort. The Dems and their MSM minions are already trying ot focus him as a fan of Big Government.

They are getting nervous and jerky already.

Mike, Dr. Paul didn't do well as expected with the younger crowd. Check the first story on the Real Clear Politics list for today. Interesting figures when it comes to Ron Pall.

Nearly 40% of the participants in Tuesday night's contest had never attended a caucus; Paul beat his nearest competitor among this group of voters by 16 points. Roughly one quarter of the electorate was comprised of independents; they broke for Paul overwhelmingly, giving him 48% of their votes.

As for the young, they went for the 76-year-old Paul by one of the most lopsided margins of the night. Over half of voters age 17 to 29 backed Paul, while Santorum ran second best among this group with a distant 23%.
