Copy and pasted. Crazy story.

Reese posted that he went on an Amazonian fishing trip earlier this year with the Phillies starting pitcher Roy "Doc" Halladay along with several others including fellow MLB pitchers Chris Carpenter and B.J. Ryan.

The mancation had some great hunting and fishing, but what made the trip even more memorable is that Halladay and Reese rescued a local man who was attacked by an anaconda.

The snake had bitten the man in the butt, and had wrapped itself around the motor of his 14-foot dugout canoe, tearing it off. The man was hurt and stranded, but he was able to fend off the giant snake before it could wrap around him. Halladay and Reese helped him gather his thibg and towed him home.

It's funny to see this because during the World Series, Tim McCarver (or whoever was calling the games) kept repeating Roy Halladay's and Chris Carpenter's intentions to go peacock bass fishing down in the Amazon once the series was over...and I was wondering how it went...LOL
