dinner out then back home by 10 for a few to watch the ball drop,no drink & drive.

We'll walk through the woods to our friend's house, visit for the evening, and then walk back home.

Thinking of going to time square, if not, stayed home and get drunk.

dude dont do times square. manhattan has been fun smashed as far as outdoor activities are concerned. you'll be packed like sardines around a buncha sober tourists. no place to relieve oneself either. i did it back when you could smoke in public and drink from a paper bag without hassle and even then i swore id never do it again. if it wasnt so expensive id prefer to just bar crawl throughout the city. that's a $1,000 night though. Im staying local.

When we we didn't have kids, we would fly to a different casino every year and gamble in the New Year..not to mention casinos throw great parties.

Now with 4 kids the paradigm is a little different...we usually go out to dinner before 6:30 pm with the kids and my parents at a local restaurant...head home by 8pm...then my parents watch the kids for a while, my wife and I walk down the street cut thru the woods into the parking lot of our local watering hole and cocktail it up...walk home in bed by 12:30.

New Years day, brunch with the whole family at the Country Club. Yes life has changed alot over the past 10 years.
