Who's making a serious run at weight loss in 2012?

It's that time of year to make grandiose plans and fall flat on our faces before Superbowl Sunday.

 

I for one am doing it this time. Who's with me? :shock:

i have been back in the gym for about 3 months now...but doing more weight lifting than cardio....I have only lost about 5 pounds, but I def moved some weight around...

 

that said my goal is to do more cardio moving forward and trim some weight...I'd like to get down to 230 or so....

I'm with yah Sparky :th: The only thing keeping me from getting winded tying my shoes is walking large golf courses chasing a stupid white ball that I still can't hit straight :squid: Five or six miles of chasing that stupid thing around with clubs a couple times a week stops happening when everything freezes...so Brett (my brother...who's 13 years younger than I am :b: ) and I are gonna start hitting the gym :scared: I'd like to drop 30# :o

That's why you have to go to a real crap hole with rusty metal plates. normally i wouldn't call anyone a jackass who is trying to go to the gym. The jackasses are the ones staying home.

I stopped drinking soda and ice tea , and eating cookies and other sugary snacks a few years ago. It's amazing how fast the weight came off

 

. I'm 6'-3"and I'm down to about 220 now for the first time since college.

I'm with ya Sparky 6 foot 6 inches and 290lbs. Border line diabetic, my kids are getting too big to mess with in my shape. I would like to drop 30 pounds. I bought a used tread mill as my rode gets pretty icy in wintertime. I was walking everyday for 3 months then got diverticulitus and quit. I have to admit I am a carb addict and breaking the happen is brutal. I don't seek out carbs but where I work the women are constantly baking cookies, cakes and junk. I'll report my progress as it goes good luck all.

I joined a gym a few weeks ago to get lots of miles on the treadmill. I do some weights. I am very weak. Need tribals.

 

Lose pounds. Lose the smokes. You will feel so much better. The internet doesn't need one of its brightest stars in a casket.
