When cooking Lobster

I've done both. Can be a pita when cooking 15 of them.

Is there a reason to remove them? Does it affect the cooking?


I wasnt singling you out- but your post with your awesome spread made me think of it. It's just how I was brought up- always take the rubber bands off before cooking- but where you are steaming it probably wouldn't make any difference. once again awesome spread KOQ- I am making seafood stuffing at the moment to stuff the lobsters with for Dinner.
