I have a "slosh" that a friend asked me to look at.

It was the usual story;

took the reel apart to lube the bearings and when they put it back together, there was no anti-reverse.

What I found was the AR pawl spring not against it's detent.

However, there must be more wrong internally.

When I put it back together, I know the AR is engaged, but the reel will still go backwards.

I think the parts are put together wrong.

The PDF I found is a very poor one with not enough detail;

Which way does the washer (third from the right) go?

Do I have the pictured parts in the correct stacking order, with the left side going to the right.

I believe the small brass washer goes between the bearing and the stainless steel large washer. In the schematic the gear stack seems clear enough. If those are all the washers you have, where are the rest of the drags and washers?

Try Mike's reel repair for a clearer schematic on this reel.

All those pictured washers go on top of the drag stack, which I have not taken apart.
