Short-Term Fishing Work

This is probably a long shot but I'm going to give it a try anyway. I'll be home from college for my month long winter break next Sunday and will be looking to pick up some extra money. I'd like to get out and do some commercial fishing/lobstering if anyone knows of someone looking for short term help I'd appreciate being put in contact with them. I've worked on lobster boats and charter boats, 300+ sea days. Would work anywhere in the northeast.

First of all not all commercial fishermen on this site are hated. There's quite a few of them on here that also recreationally fish..I commercial fished for 7 years and was one of the biggest proponents for the fishery. I know req's that poach and are a lot worse then alot of the commercial guys I know. I mated since I was 14 and if you need some leads PM me! I love when people tell me that the commercial guys killed the flounder fishing but check out all the pics years ago especially in Moriches when guys had 100-200 flounders displayed! Another factor is the fact of the resurgance of the striper fishery. Stripers love flounders and eat them like candy! I know I'm rambling now but I hate when guys blame commercial guys for everything that has happened but I would love to see them on a pitching rolling deck in 20ft seas for 14hrs!
