Lawn Tractor Problem-Part 2

Greetings and salutations fellow gangsta rappas:

Following the advice here, I replaced the solenoid on my pappy's lawn tractor and shot Marvel mystery oil into the cylinders. A couple of slow cranks, and she fired up. A little rough running for the first ten minutes, but then the Sea Foam kicked in and she purred like a kitten. I tried to take her out for a spin, and rut roh....putting it in gear, she's not moving. I verified that the brake was disengaged. This is weird because the tractor has very low hours and the tranny was working fine when it was parked four years ago. Any ideas? Dried-out clutch plate, worn belt????? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Oh yea, 2000 Craftsman 25 HP tractor.

Check that the brake is not frozen, it is mounted on one side of the transmission. Is the clutch pedal operating??

This is a very common problem especially if it was stored away with the parking brake engaged.
