helping my son on this he pulled the radiator to replace, put the new on in and it seems to work however the temp gauge is not working and I found a connector on the fender behind the overflow tank that we can't seem to find anything to plug into it.. if anyone has this model car can you take a look to see where the connecting wire goes it would be a huge help to us.[ATTACHMENT=3327]DSCN0243.JPG (2,585k. Theres a sensor located at the top of the water outlet, which is located at the end of the cylinder head.

These often go bad and won't give a reading, but it may also be a loose wire also.

The connector you found may just be for another style engine.

They used several different engines on this car, however I believe all the temp. sensors are in exactly the same place.
