So, how'd the poor guy come off?

Because of the way his voice sounds, he came across as somewhat cranky.

Surely, many CBS viewers think Paul is cranky in a different sense of the word, i.e., kooky.

CBS veiwers can't tolerate cranky?

Where did Andy Rooney work again?

They certainly tolerated Rooney's crankiness but I think he was a self-declared liberal or Democrat.

So you're telling me that Paul didn't get a fair shake on Face the Nation?

The reason I ask is because I didn't see it.

Frankly, Schieffer's tone was condescending: I've got to query this nutty fellow about his outlandish policy pronouncements.

If you see the interview your perception of it will largely parallel mine.

Thomas Jefferson had a high pitched voice, a lisp, and stuttered...............

looks like he was using right wing type rhetoric against Paul that we have seen here so often. For example, taking his position that our foreign polcies contribute to the terrorist activities, and twisting it to "so you blame america"

the bias seems so obvious, how can she look in the mirror

lichum: I've seen that "demeanor alteration" (along with change of voice) more times than I can count. The MSM bias I remember best, was committed by Bob Schieffer on FACE THE NATION. Even if Campbell and her cronies watched themselves on tape, they'd still deny they're biased.

Why precisely aren't you guys crying about Bob Shieffer too?

Jeeze, its a liberal army running the debates!

My most memorable example of media bias was committed by Schieffer. His shift in tone, both audible and attitudinally, coupled with his changed demeanor, both absolute, left no doubt he hated his guest.
