Does Cain have proof

That it's the Democrat Machine behind the recent spate of allegations?

I found it a bit ironic that amid a Press conference in which he was saying that "Herman Cain" was the victim of unsubstantiated allegations, slander yadda yadda yadda,

he came out and blamed the "Democrat Machine" as the source of his troubles.

anyone else find that amusing?

Has he backed up his assertion in any way?

speaking of Irony,

Can he explain WHY it's relevant to look into the past of his accusers?  To look at their employment history in order to ascertain their credibility.....

Isn't he basically telling us that HIS employment history isn't important in his quest for the oval office,

when he dismisses the significance of his two harassment settlements?

yes but by whom?

when dismissing unsubstantiated rumor and allegations Cain made one about the Dems.

Has he supported it?

did he provide any evidence the Dems were behind it?

you know,

irony.

When you make a cliam like that, where would you put what George Bush's campaign did to smear POW and Navy Pilot John McCain?

Karl Rove, as George Bush's strategist, was behind a smear campain in South Carolina making false alegations about McCain fathered a black child out of wedlock, and using his POW status to suggest he suffered from mental disease.

I do not know of a more dispicable presidential level smear campaign that that one. Not only did he prey upon the bigot nature of some southerm republicans, he attempted to disgrace an american POW who served his country honerably, came home after spending 7 years in a POW camp, and decided to dedicate himself to public serve to make sure we never make the same mistakes again, by calling up voters and asking them is they knew John McCain suffered from mental disease as a result of his years in a POW camp, would you vote for him.

This one did use both race and troop spitting.

this is totally different. McCain was a threat and he's white. There was no reason to go after Cain like this. Only the dems have the motivation for this crime.

explain to me how that logic works, when Cain was a threat to the republican candidates according to the polls.

Since the head to head polls showed Obama kicking the snot out of Cain, what would be logic for the dems wanting Cain out of the race?

Why would they want to knock out the guy they could take down with one arm?

And why would they do it now, ensuring they would have to face a more worthy opponent, and not wait to see if he could get the GOP lead, and then take him down ensuring a landslide victory and claiming a mandate?

seems your logic is a lot about how you feel about race and not supported by any legitimate campaign strategy.

The folks that have motive are the ones who would be threatened by Cain.

I agree. That would be liberals. Repubs know he was never legit but the thought of splitting the black vote in the general election is not a gamble that Hussein can afford to take. NJ is considered a battleground stae this time around. When's the last time we were a battleground state? There's a lot at stake and every vote counts. Cain must be squashed.
