Honey, I Just Shrunk The Republicans

The birther, teaparty union busters, and the voter suppression Republicans were defeated in Maine, Ohio, Michigan and Mississippi. I suspect the worm has turned.

Maybe you cannot fool all of the people all of the time.

Yes it does seem that in an off year election in Ohio, $25 million spent on union advertising lies and busing Dems to the polls has undone the will of the people. I do not believe thinking taxpayers are really in favor of allowing their employees to hold them hostage. But then I have come to understand that one of the flaws of our governmental form is that no education or ability to think is required to cast a vote.

What I think would be sweet is to see the legislature pass the law again, have the Gov. sign it and then the unions can spend another $25 mil getting it put to referendum in a presidential election year. Who thinks the outcome might be different?

Long live the union busters. Far from a term of disparagement, it should be worn as a badge of honor and patriotism. No government can be stable, and therefore perform its constitutional duty, when the taxpayers' employees are allowed to write their own paychecks and stop the very functioning of government.

Even that darling of the left, F.D.Roosevelt, said so.

Even worse, many let their children be educated by the very same government union thugs that just blew into Ohio and stomped all over the citizens.  Pity.

Yet, the people of Ohio rejected Obamacare.

Idaho just voted IN several measures that put unionists in government on their heels.  Not a loss.  Ohio is no stronger for Obama than it was yesterday, this one issue was decided by interlopers

Did Idaho voters do away with public school teachers' tenure and teachers' unions negotiating pay and benefit packages?

Or did the legislature do that a few days ago?

So Nitsip, since you applaud the voters of Ohio for supporting government unions, do you also applaud them for rejecting Obamacare? One year from now is going to be a lot of fun because socialists like you are going down, and hopefully for a couple of generations.

The Reps can still snatch defeat from the jaws of victory but every day makes that less and less probable. Viva la Adam Smith.

2 to 1 and against and pretty much puts Ohio in the Dem column for 2012. Thanks, Koch brothers and Kasich.

Oh, I think the message last night was Obama carries Ohio in 2012.

Who really cares about Idaho?

Not when they rejected his signature law. The union stuff was local and the unions poured tons of money and outside workers into the effort. I think it is a good thing as it will wake many conservatives who thought 2012 was a done deal. That is just the thing to put conservatives back on alert.

Meanwhile, the same voters substantially REJECTED Obamacare and by inferance, Obama and he will take the entire ticket down with him. Ohio goes conservative in 2012.

It is the defeat around the US last night of things Republicans hold dear: union busting, right to life, voter fraud, state immigration laws, were all soundly defeated last night from Maine to AZ.
