Sitting down with a couple pitchers of beer and a newspaper covered table is the fun part for me. Sweating in the sun, getting covered in mud and stinky bait sucks. I do enjoy prowling the flats with a dip net though. Delete from SOL_Users where username like 'wasy','Seal'....

HugeDinghy
Here. You just walk the sod bank and net them as they try to flee to deep water. Easy as hell. Edited July 2, 2020 by HugeDinghy
SacoStriperFisha
You have them in Rhode island dingy? I read that the are found from Nova Scotia to down south. I've never heard of them in Maine, Nh or mass? East Tide
PlumFishing
We used to go to a bridge on the Cape and when tide was coming in dip net on one side of the bridge and going out on the other side. They just floated with the tide.

HugeDinghy
I actually started a thread in the R.I. forum about how many there were this year and how early they were.
SacoStriperFisha
Damn. Would I need a permit or anything? That's only a 2 hour drive, I'd love to come get some!
IsmailG
Been meaning to go crabbing that just reminded me lol. Last year found a nice little area to launch the kayak and was filling up a bucket with crabs in no time. Would eat all the crabs and after swore I'd never do it again, until a week later lol
PlumFishing
Someone was saying there will be a lack of crab meat available this year, visas cancelled for the Mehicanos who do the picking due to the plague.
