Mojo7
Depending on circumstances, there is a variance of anywhere from 40-60 +/- minutes if you compare the "current turns" column to the RR bridge "high and low water" column, but I'm not aware of any signifcant, material difference in "actual" high and low water to the data under the published RR bridge high and low water column. Thank you. SGCCCFC Formerly Markjr

Ditch Jigger
Thanks shark lobster but I did get some bait. My local bait & tackle shop that I use for fresh water pretty much gave me some frozen mackerel, from what I've been told it's not the best bait to use but it gets my traps in the water. As of this week I have a local fish market that will give me all their scarps all I have to do is drop off a few 5 gal. buckets and pick them up the next day. So tomorrow I'll be setting 5 traps. Thanks to all that helped, even those who busted my b*lls, better to have it done here and learn what I'm getting myself into than to get into a scuffle down on the canal over it. I'm not sure if I'll get an honest answer to this but I've been told that the army corp. tide charts are an hour off. So if they list low tide at a certain location it is an hour later than they list. S/L as far as PM's go I have to wait a few more days and a few more post but thanks I may take you up on that someday. Where you're putting your traps in, figure that low tide is an hour to an hour and a quarter after the current turns east. 55chev
So who's the one with ruffled feathers, making "inquiries" about me? Grapevine is in full effect! Anything you want to know, just ask, I'm an open book.
