East wind blew the tide higher then expected this morning. First time I’ve had to wade back to my rig, lol.

I figured it would be snowing there by now.

We’ve had a bit of snow and hail, but no real accumulations.

I love this time of year. No sun, lots of rain and clouds and very few people out fishing the beaches.

No fishing involved.
Did a 4 mile hike in a local park today that used to be the site of a old military fort.

Interesting hike down the hill to the beach with all the ice.

Got soaked in the windy and cold weather.

Nice to get out though with few people around.

Fun weekend out on the beaches. No fish were harmed due to terrible water color from all the recent snow melt, rain and wind.

Really nice day though for just hanging out on the beach.

Weird moment of the day happened on the way home.
I’m following a motorcycle on a state route with a 40+ mph speed limit and a gal runs out from the side of the road between us. I swerved off to the side of the road while braking hard to avoid hitting her. She proceeded to stand on the center line dancing while wrapping her coat around her head. She was having either a mental health issue or super high on drugs, I’m not really sure.
We called 911 but it had already been reported.
Crazy stuff and I’m glad I didn’t hit her.
